La Petite Perriere Gite
A home from home self catering 3 bedroom family gite on one level, sleeping up to 6 people + cot with its own large private heated swimming pool and secluded garden.

La Grande Perriere B&B
Available in our Maison de Maitre, a ‘gentleman’s residence’ all in traditional French style with its own private garden.

La Perriere has an outside bread oven, we make our own bread for the traditional foue and rillettes, washed down with Coteaux du Layon, a lovely way to spend an evening.
River-side BBQ’s and picnics are also another favorite.

Horse Riding
Spanish Horse riding across our land and surrounding countryside.
Peace and tranquility is assured in this lovely rural setting, where you are free to wander the land, get to know the horses grazing in our fields. Watch and listen to the Sky Larks, Nightingales, Golden Orioles & Hoopoes, enjoy the sight of hares chasing across the land. Wonder at the huge skies with brilliant sun sets and clear bright starry nights.   

The village of Clere sur Layon is ten minutes walk away, it has a bar and small shop, selling fresh bread daily and all essential items. There is a tennis court and fishing on the rivers Layon, Thouet and Loire is available with a licence, which can be obtained locally. The village has two excellent vignerons for tasting of Coteaux du Layon, white, rose and red wine plus sparkling white and red.
